Core Values

We aim to be a successful ethical business.  But effective implementation of ethical practices in a small business requires more than statements of intent.

To be taken seriously, ethics must be properly aligned to the firm's culture.  We have found that establishing regular meetings that engage staff in examining:

  • Their personal values and beliefs - what they think is good for society and the environment.
  • How these values can be translated into the daily behaviour of the firm.
  • How the firm as a whole can then have a positive impact on society and the environment

- has been central to the development of a business culture that encourages ethical practices.

Ethical Media uses five values to inform its work.  Their selection is based on our personal values, collective experience and dialogue with stakeholders about what it means to be an ethical communications agency.

We aim to be:

  1. Authentic
  2. Innovative
  3. Profitable
  4. Sustainable
  5. Accountable

We have developed policies to ensure that these values are fully integrated into the way we work.

Please download a pdf of our Policy Framework 2003-4  to see how we put these values into practice.  If you have any feedback on our policies please e-mail seb@ethicalmedia.com.
