We have been banking with HSBC since November 2002. Up to this point we had been with the Co-operative Bank who have a very high standard in terms of social and environmental performance. Regrettably, they didn't provide the facilities we needed to grow, so we had to switch to a bank that didn't have the  same ethical credentials.

Holden Meehan are our Independent Financial Advisers, and helped Ethical Media to set up a stakeholder pension.  We all filled out questionnaires regarding our financial and ethical preferences. Holden Meehan suggested a number of SRI funds and we finally decided on an ethical pension with AMP NPI's Global Care fund. Recently, that has been switched into a managed fund by Friends Provident.

Our main aim was to find an ethical fund that provides long term growth and is with a reliable provider. All companies that are part of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) funds have been screened in terms of their social and environmental performance.

Our business insurance is arranged via the Co-operative Bank, who only recommend ethical partners.
