The Institute of Social and Ethical Accountability, is a progressive professional institute that helps organisations to understand, improve and communicate their social performance.

We developed their branding strategy and have designed and developed their websites and a range of their printed publications

Arts Council of England (Creative Partnerships)

Creative Partnerships is an innovative national initiative, run by the Arts Council to promote creativity and innovation.  Ethical Media has been asked to present our approach to knowledge management and 'joined-up' communications strategy.

Bretton Woods Project

The Bretton Woods Project works as a networker, information-provider, media informant and watchdog to scrutinise and influence the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF).

We conducted a consultation and digital communication strategy for their network, see the case study in our portfolio

Bioregional

Established in 1994, BioRegional Development Group is founded on the green ideal of local production for local needs. The Group takes a market-led approach to sustainable development and promotes the application of appropriate technology.

Their vision of the future is a network of regional industries based on sustainable land-use, providing fulfilling employment and maintaining bio diversity.

We have helped them with their communications strategy and developed the identity for their kerbside paper recycling project, The Laundry. We also did designs for their recycling bags, and trucks.

British Overseas NGOs for Development (BOND)

Aims to enhance the quality of UK civil society's contribution to development, by enabling the exchange of experience and learning between civil society organisations, the UK Government, the European Union and international Networks. BOND also manages training programmes relevant to the international development sector.

We have developed some of their on-line databases.

Broadway

Fuses together a holistic range of services that compliment rather than duplicate one another, enabling the charity to provide a seamless range of support to help people make the journey from street to home.

We helped them with their website Information Architecture.

Catholic Institute for International Relations (CIIR)

Is an international charity working for justice and the eradication of poverty. Their approach combines work to secure equitable policies with the strengthening of community based organisations that represent the interests of the poor and improve their quality of life.

We designed and developed their website.

Community Links

Community Links is an innovative and ground-breaking charity running community-based projects in east London. Founded in 1977, they now help over 30,000 vulnerable children, young people and adults a year, with most of our work delivered in Newham, one of the poorest Boroughs in Europe. Their successes influence both community organisations nation-wide and also government policy.

We designed and developed theirwebsite.

Conflict Development and Peace Network (CODEP)

Codep aims to reduce violent conflict and support those worst affected by it through the improvement of policy and practice in conflict, development and peace work carried out by UK NGOs, academic institutions, consultants and government departments.

We designed and developed their website.

Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA)

The CPA is an Association of Commonwealth Parliamentarians who, irrespective of gender, race, religion or culture, are united by community of interest, respect for the rule of law and individual rights and freedoms, and by pursuit of the positive ideals of parliamentary democracy.

We are re-developing the CPAs identity and their website.

Creative Learning Agency (CLA)

The CLA is a publicly funded web-based news and information service which was set up in 2001 to provide educators and artists with information and support for arts education work. CLA serves education and life-long learning providers and artists working in the four unitary authorities of Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

We re-designed and developed their website, see also the case study.

CSR Europe

CSR Europes mission is to help companies combine profitability and sustainability, by making corporate social responsibility a cornerstone of the way they operate.

We developed the software which runs across their websites, including their main website and their project websites, including the SRI Compass.

Demos

Is a greenhouse for new ideas which can improve the quality of our lives. As an independent research organisation, its aim is to create an open resource of knowledge and learning that operates beyond traditional parties, identities and disciplines.

We developed their website.

Department for Education and Skills (DfES), Cybrarian project.

The Cybrarian project's aim is to open up access to the Internet for older people.

We are providing them with strategic consultancy.

Digital Europe

Initiated by Forum for the Future as part of Digital Futures, Digital Europe is a pan European research project investigating the impacts of ebusiness on sustainable development.

We designed and developed their website.

EQ Management

Introduces companies, NGO's and governments to the idea that social responsibility, handled with confidence and clear thinking, brings benefits on many levels – relationships, finances and ideas.

We developed their identity, their printed stationery and the promotional brochure as well as their website.

European Debt and Development Network (Eurodad)

Is a network of 48 development non-governmental organisations from 15 European countries working for national economic and international financing policies that achieve poverty eradication and the empowerment of the poor.

We designed and developed their website.

ERA

Is an innovative, not-for-profit regeneration company specialising in strategy and planning, project management and business development solutions. It responds to the need to balance people, government, competitiveness and inclusion.

We developed their identity and designed their website

Faith Regen UK

Faith Regen UK is a national multi-faith organisation which delivers a range of integrated empowerment services.

We support them in defining their 5 year strategic plan though workshops and consultancy.

Forum for the Future

Their mission is to accelerate the building of a sustainable way of life, taking a positive, solutions oriented approach. By pursuing partnerships with key organisations, the Forum has developed several cutting-edge initiatives that are pushing forward the sustainability agenda.

We developed their main website and designed and developed various project websites

Green Alliance

Green Alliances mission is to promote sustainable development by ensuring that the environment is at the heart of decision-making.
They work with senior people in government, parliament, business and the environmental movement to encourage new ideas, dialogue and constructive solutions

We are currently developing a new website for them.

Green Futures Magazine

Green Futures was founded in 1996 by Forum for the Future director, Jonathon Porritt. The aim of the magazine is to lead the debate on sustainable development, provide a lively snapshot of the latest news and opinion, along with cutting edge examples of good practice.

We designed and developed their website and were commissioned to design a cover for the printed version of the magazine. 

Inclusive Quality Project

The Inclusive Quality Project is an independent partnership of three national advice networks - Dial UK, Youth Access, and FIAC - and is funded by the Legal Services Commission.

It works throughout England and Wales to support disadvantaged community groups and agencies to develop their quality assurance infrastructure, enabling them to build their capacity to achieve the Community Legal Service Quality Mark.

We are developing their website and Intranet.

Institute for Citizenship

The aim of the Institute for Citizenship is to promote informed, active citizenship and greater participation in democracy and society through a combination of community projects, research, education and discussion and debate.

We have designed and printed their latest education newsletter

London Sustainability Exchange

London Sustainability Exchange (LSX) is London's independent implementation support organisation for sustainable development.

Their aim is to ensure that London's organisations and individuals have the motivation, knowledge and services needed to create the most sustainable World City.

The LSX website uses emKnowledge as the content management system.

Migration Policy Group

Is an independent organisation committed to policy development on mobility, migration, diversity, equality and anti-discrimination by facilitating the exchange between stakeholders from all sectors of society, with the aim of contributing to innovative and effective responses to the challenges posed by migration and diversity.

We designed and developed their website.

Ofcom

Ofcom is the UKs communications industry regulator. Ethical Media has been commissioned to produce a report on web accessibility issues.

OneWorld International 

OneWorld International is an organisation which uses the internet to promote human rights and sustainable development across the world. The organisation consists of a network of websites under the OneWorld banner.

We designed and managed the print of the latest OneWorld Annual Report

Pathways

Is a management consultancy group dedicated to promoting ethical business practice.

We designed and developed their website and printed promotional material.

Progress

Is a diverse and inclusive group of Labour Party members and trade unionists, united in their commitment to democratic socialism.

We designed and developed their website.

Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) 

Their mission is to advance architecture by demonstrating benefit to society and promoting excellence in the profession.

We developed the Living City website for them.

Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB)

RNIB is the UK's leading charity offering information, support and advice to over two million people with sight problems. We are helping them with research and accessible web design.

SEE Corporate Policy

SEE stands for social envionmental and ethical.  SEE corporate policy is a highly innovative new start-up which aims to open up the CSR debate and place it firmly in the hands of the consumer.  Watch this space - this could be the next big thing, visit their website for more information.

Ethical media has been employed to support the development of the corporate offering and communications strategy.

Sustainability

Sustainability's mission is to help create a more sustainable world by encouraging the evolution and widespread adoption of thinking and practices which are economically competitive, environmentally sound, and socially responsible - that is, the triple-bottom line of sustainable development

Teacher Support Network (TSN)

The Teacher Support Network exists to provide work/life balance guidance to school teachers throughout England and Wales.  The Teacher Support Line, offered by TSN, is the only 'phone and web' based councelling service exclusively for teachers in the UK.

Ethical Media was asked to produce a positioning study and strategy for Teacher Support Line to assist in bids for further funding.

Trade Justice Movement

The Trade Justice Movement is a fast growing group of organisations including aid agencies, environment and human rights campaigns, fairtrade organisations, faith and consumer groups. They are campaigning for trade justice - not free trade - with the rules weighted to benefit poor people and the environment.

We developed the software for their on-line events notification system

The Union Foundation (TUF)

The Union Foundation is a small non-profit making organisation centred in West Oxfordshire. Its primary aim is to promote and harness the effect of a number of 'disparate forces for change for the better' in environmental, social, economic, political, religious, and other fields.

We helped the organisation develop a new identity and designed their stationery and website.

Upstream

Is a strategic sustainability consultancy.  They help their clients to develop strategies for economic, environmental and social responsibility, and to integrate and align them with their business goals.

We have developed a 'joined-up' communications strategy, with a particular focus on knowledge management and customer relationship management.  We have also designed and developed the PEG on-line website.

Vitamin-e

Was a network that connected people from the tech and new media industries, government and the voluntary sector, allowing them to share ideas and develop practical projects which embed sustainability in every area of the new economy.

The network was set-up and run by Ethical Media, Forum for the Future and Demos.

We designed and developed the website and printed promotional materials.

Walk Your Talk

Walk Your Talk hosts events where leading socially and environmentally responsible entrepreneurs can learn from one another and creating trading relationships.

Etthical Media is one of the sponsors of the event and has developed their visual identity and website.

We have developed their visual identity and website.

Working with Ethical Media was the obvious choice. To communicate what we are about, we need to work with a communications agency that understands our values.
