The Design Process

First things first. We work with you, not just for you. Design isn't a closed book that only 'designers' can read. It's an open process we can all contribute to.

It starts by working together, using our co-creation process, as well as branding and identity explorations, to understand the design challenge.

Next, we'll often carry out research. We like to understand how your target audiences see you -- and feel about you. We can then respond to this understanding with some suggested 'lines of enquiry'. With your buy-in, one of these lines of enquiry will form the final idea, leading to language and style cues that can inform the design of almost anything.

Outcomes.

The outcome of this process could be any communications vehicle, from a traditional brochure, to a website, to flying a balloon over Everest. Whatever fits your objectives best.

We'll work with you to make these outcomes happen. Even if we don't have the capacity in-house, we have a wide circle of friends with a diverse set of skills that we can put at your disposal.

In the past we have produced films, leaflets, magazines and websites amongst other communication channels, using typography, photography and graphic design.

It was important to us that our identity was fresh, funny and appealing. Previous recycling designs have been extremely dull and have become old fashioned, cliched and ineffective. Ethical Media has separated us from this legacy and set a new precedent for the eco–sustainable design market – a groundbreaking achievement – Ben Maxwell – The Laundry
